Camping in LAX area

    Is there another campground in LAX area other than Goose? Looking to camp on north side of town or across river. Looking for this wknd for BFL. Thanx, R.D.

    I think that Pettibone Resort (608)782-5858 and Veterans Memorial Campground ((608)786-4011 will be the next two closest to where you need to be.

    You could also try Blue Bird Springs Camp Ground 608-781-2267, but the Pettibone would be the closet for you and on the water.

    You could also try Wildcat Campground,Brownsville,MN. Right across from Goose Island.They usually have openings.

    I stayed at Pettibone last year. Very nice place.
