    I will make this simple…
    Flow is low.
    Level is low.
    Weeds are thick.
    Fry are concentrated.

Find current, weeds, water >18″, and fry… you will have fish… and LOTS of ’em. Those who found them last night, caught plenty, including some ~3 lbers. Those who didn’t find all the pieces, caught nada. All in all, a great fishing night.

For those of you pre-fishing for tourney’s, I might suggest just locating a bunch of spots that define the above… on tourney day, go to them and if there is no activity or feeding, move to the next. Last night’s success came from areas ONLY where there were baitfish present… some GREAT LOOKING areas, but no baitfish meant NO fish.

    Hope this helps. Good fishing!

Pitbull… still learning my GPS unit… I think the coordinates were set at “Pool 7 – Mississippi River”

The fish are out there, and if you know Pool 7… you know where to find spots as I describe!

Champman… Yeah, my partner “suffered” last night… kept waiting for him to reel in a big one… He “was feeling it”.. NOTHING… Poor guy, still wonder what he’s feeling!!!
