Here is Andy Carol of Pradco with a nice smallie that just aniliated the new BOOYA spinnerbait by Pradco. We were high speed burning this just under the surface overtop some weeds and rock mixed current swept areas.
Here is a pic of Gary Nelson of Pradco holding the last fish of the night last night before the mosquitos carried us away. This fish fell victim to a pumpkin pepper green 4″ Yum Garret tube. Nice fish Gary!
Here is yours truly with just an average 16″-17″ fish. Disregard the date you see on the photos appeared here on this post. These fish did actually come from the past couple of days. I have had my camera reapaired several times now and I think the date has never been updated.
DeeZee, Nice report and some great pics! Hope the computer problems are solved, sometimes it would be easier to those darn things. Keep the reports coming
Nice report Steve. It’s good to see someone is fishing the Sartell area. Pics from my last guide trip….which was a few weeks ago. The water was higher back then and I found the bigger fish holding around deeper holes. Most of my fish hit spoonplugs.
Most all my trips have been either the Wilson park area of St. Cloud or Anoka/Champlin sections of river. Even with how low the water has been, these pools are very navigable. It seems the hotter the weather, the better the bite!
My mistake on location …..AND yep couldn’t agree more on the hot weather. Did anyone in your family enter the Lion’s club bass tourny on the river? (At least that’s who was running it.) I was “thiiisss” close to doing it, but I have been swamped with work and couldn’t justify the time. AND with my luck lately with tourny’s it’s best I stick with recreational fishing (and guiding).
