Does Anyone know if there is any water in the wisconsin channel? If so, Is there enough where we won’t have a 140 boat pile-up in the BFL?

    Thanks!

There is enough water to make it through with my boat(1775 Pro v-150 Johnson) but you better know the area cause it’s shallow. In some place I’m running in 1.5-2 feet of water wide open. If you haven’t been down it this year I wouldn’t suggest it.

Okay… you peaked my interest… what pool/where is the “Wisconsin Channel”? I’m guessing a way to cross to the main channel from the lake on Pool 7??? Probaly not, but that woud be my guess…..

Try about 4 pools to the north. It’s on pool 4. The last BFL of the year is up there this year.

You can’t make it through the flats right now. You will have to slide into the main channel at the fifth cut. Remember that the sand bar in the fifth cut is very shallow right now too. You will have to go to the left around the big log and then move to your right a bit to miss the sand bar. Better yet, go slow through there the first time.
Upper pool 4 is very tricky right now so be careful.
