I was fishing pool 10 Sunday and noticed at least three tournaments going on. Anyone know the results? One tournament was Bassworldsports.com.

Crees, I fished the Grant County Bass Clubs 4 man team tourney Sunday. There were 32 boats (16 teams) and I think the winning weight was 12 fish that weighed 27 pounds plus. It took a little over 22 pounds to place (5th). The majority of the fish caught were largemouth with a few smallies weighed in. It seemed everyone had a tough time getting the bigger bass to bite. Big bass went around 3 1/2 pounds.

Our team caught almost all of our fish on topwater baits. Started out with Pop Rs and then switched to Rats and Tournament Frogs the rest of the day. How did you do Sunday?

birdman, Thanks for the info. We were just trying to find an answer to the low water question. I have tournaments coming up and need a solution. We caught fish but nothing over 2 lbs. The 1lb-2lb fish seem to be plentiful and easy to catch. We caught our fish early on top water as well, using Zara puppies and Berkley Frenzy’s. By late morning we switched over to 2-5ft crank baits and they produced about the same. Thanks again for the info.
