I would like to thank all of the kids for a fun year. It has been a great learning experience for all of us. I have enjoyed working with everyone of you and can not wait to get started on things for the next season which will start in September. I would also like to thank all of our supporters. Laudy, you have been a tremendous help. I can not thank you enough. The rest of the River Roads guys also deserve a thank you. David Snyder provided some extremely nice prizes to our champions today, for this I thank you. Laudy also did a wonderful job on the plaques and prizes as well. A few other sponsors need to be thanked: Suffix, Zoom, Gander Mountain, Pizza Hut – Rose St., Next Level Tackle, MG Lures, and one of our greatest sponsors is Custom Lures – Bob’s Bait and Tackle. Scott at Bob’s has been extremely helpful with prizes and discounts for our kids. All of you kids should make a point to thank him and all the others. Good luck at State you guys, and for those of you who did not make it this year, there is always next year. I am impressed with all of your abilities, and any one of you can win it next year.
July 16, 2007 at 2:59 am #590534Another person who deserves a big THANK YOU is Todd. Your work with both the River Road club as well as being the state Youth Director is to be commended and my hat is off to you!
I would also like to thank all the young men in the club for participating this season and I’m looking forward starting the next round after Nagawicka. I know Todd has some exciting ideas and vision for the years to come.
Please take a look at the group photo as well!
July 16, 2007 at 3:00 am #590535I would like to thank all the adults from river roads who have taken the time to take us kids out fishing all year. I would especially like to thank Todd for getting everything organized for us kids and putting so much time into our youth club. I am very excited about going to the state tournament. Good luck to the rest of the kids in the club. I’ll see you guys at state.
July 16, 2007 at 3:39 am #590539It’s been a wonderful experience. I don’t know what I can say, I’m speechless. one rod last time was enough!! But another and an accurrist!?! All I can say is thank you to everyone who made this club possible for all of us: Todd, Laudy, Jim, Ben, Jeremiah, BC, Torry, Jason, Dan, Joe, Tom, Brent, Bill, and Dave, Pete, as well as the parents for giving rides and being so supportive. and if I left anyone out, please let me know!! You guys really showed us an amazing time this summer, I can’t wait to get back out at it again in September, and I am really looking forward to Nagawicka. All I can say is the club went LEAPS and BOUNDS from last year
Thanks,
CadeJuly 16, 2007 at 4:13 am #590542Tony, I was thinking the same thing…shrinking them down to an acceptable size to upload made them that way.
July 16, 2007 at 2:12 pm #590614Congrats guys and good luck at State! It was pleasure getting to fish with all of you.
I’ll have the updates up on our website very soon!
July 16, 2007 at 2:22 pm #590622Great Job everyone…..
Good luck to those going to State. Get yourselves a map and start looking things over!!!
July 16, 2007 at 4:17 pm #590687You guys might want to leave the power gear behind and get ready to fish like a sissy! But seriously if they bite you guys are in for a treat. Nag is a good lake, but don’t miss your early bites because the lake turns into to a Zoo rather early. Hope you guys know how to skip good! Have fun and good luck! Watch out for that Brovarney Kid, he might be the Local Favorite!
July 16, 2007 at 4:21 pm #590692Nagawicka…..oh yea, an old stomping ground
Hope you guys like clear water and are ready to loose a few baits to some monster toothy critters!
Good luck you guys
July 16, 2007 at 4:37 pm #590703I stopped in to watch the weigh-in for a few minutes…..Had a cat trip that night…so I had to leave quick but….
I was quite impressed!
These guys had some nice fish and obviously had a great time catching them.
Big time kudo’s to all involved
Best of luck at state guysJuly 16, 2007 at 6:23 pm #590763slop I printed off the same map last night. Sure will be different fishing a lake that reaches 90 ft of water
I’m pumped though.
July 16, 2007 at 6:52 pm #590784Do a search on Lake Nagawicka Maps – they have some better ones out there to buy. 1 is a hot spots map.
Obviously they will probably have a lake map you can buy there as well.
July 16, 2007 at 7:15 pm #590793yeah I saw the hot spots. Trust me google got a work out last night on lake nagawicka we tried to order that map, but it kept saying internal server error everytime we clicked submit, so we couldn’t get it. Oh well, time on the water will be coming shortly and It will be nice to have a grip of what’s really going on.
