With all the BS being flung around, I had an idea. To keep things fun around here in a “bass sense” I think we need to roast someone on here each week. That way we can have fun, get out our rants, and show appreciation at the same time. It should run Sunday to Sunday. I nominate BLUE to be first!

    JC your next

Maybe the walleye dudes and Brian K will even get involved!

If you ask me, I think the first person we should roast is the person who thought of it.

Blue Fleck is the best carrot-topped fisherman on this site (he may be the only carrot-topped fisherman on this site!). Seriously (not) he is the only guy I know that can sling as good or better than he gets slung at. He is a pleasure to have around for his insight and experience. He may not be the best on any given day but he is a good hook and a friendly guy. He would give you the shirt off his back (if it was full of fish slime and too stinky to take home for momma to wash).

He is quick with a comeback and is truthful most of the time! I for one like and respect Blue Fleck for who he is and isn’t.

    Here’s to you Blue.

I really have a hard time respecting a guy that has almost 10,000 posts. No wonder he dosent have any time to fish, between posting his life away on IDA and Ironing JC’s underware there’s no time left in a day. Blue has been very helpful on here I really have picked up some good things from him.

1.Never let Blue net my fish, my yellow lab has a better chance of not knocking off a bass.

2.Fashon-Dude those glasses went out of fashon with Marty and Doc.

3.Don’t change what works-You almost sent the entire IDA site off-line when you changed your name to Thomas and I was sure we were going to have to put Brovarney in a strait-jacket.

4.Being a bully rocks-I dont know what you get more jollies off of, Locking threads or picking on the rookies in here!

When I think back about all the great things I have learned from you I have a flood of emotions. Your a great man and you bring the forum together like Rosie O’Donell does with feminists. We appreciate your knowlege and experience, but your graphics for my boat take the cake. I consider you our ringleader even if you occationally lead us off a cliff…last but not least you truly are JC’s better half.

I don’t hardly know him otherwise I’d be on it. I can’t wait for the Jhall roast, the coyote223 roast, the Cade roast, by the time we get done we’ll have everyone whining and quitting.
But Blue, you do watch over us so gracefully. I always feel safe coming to the bass forum. I know that no one can single me out and pick on me, if they do you’d lock it down right? You set the bar for how a forum should be ran. All of the other mods. look up to you I’m sure.
Heck, not too long ago you were the victim of an online assult. You handled it well, kept your composure, despite being accused of being a washed up has been. I don’t know how you do it. Keep on keeping on. Keep the keyboard dusted and clean.

Ok, I thought we were roasting Blue. Why the heck is my name getting tossed into the mix.?
Seriously though. Blue is the nicest guy I have ever met while driving the short-bus. He is always willing to help out the homo’s, I mean homeless and anyone who can teach JHALL to fish must be smarter than a 5th grader…. If it weren’t for Tom I would have to take the dogfish off my hooks myself and since he can only count to 3 he has available appendages to offer to the dogfish gods. Conversations with Blue are always positive, well at least I think they are because he always has the “just dropped a load in my drawers” look on his face. The red hair comes in handy when we are lost and need rescued. You can see the glow for miles. I don’t think I have ever witnessed him lose a fish at the boat… come to think of it, I am not sure I have ever say him get a fish in the boat..odd. Anyway, Like I was saying I would trust him with my boat any day as long as he keeps it in the garage. His Artwork is second to none., top notch, the greatest I have ever seen next to the Dilbert cartoon in the Sunday paper. On a serious note, Tom is really a good guy, even if he does spill pizza in the back of my truck, a good guy even if he does sing old cartoon lyrics in the boat, a good guy even when he tossed my pliers in over the side, wait that was mossboss. And yes even a good guy when he only has 1 of the perfect bait and laughs and makes fun of you while handing your arse to you on silver platter.
