Of course, no one got a 3 pound limit either. But I bet most people were fishing for one.

Your right Moss , I’m sure everyone was fishing for a 3lb avg. because thats normally what it takes to win a 6 or 8 fish team tourney out of LaCrosse… I think we were lucky to win with about 2.90 average in the last MSBC…most of the time that’s good for about 3rd place. I like to personally thank the BFL tournament the day before for beating up everybodys fish.

Put your money where your mouth is and I’ll show you what a loss feels like.

May your next 100 posts be somewhere else……

    Wrong again…

No disrespect meant but if your going to call people out you should have the stones to put your identity on your profile.

I would expect TEAM tournaments such as BWSTA to have larger weights when its two guys 5 fish , not one guy 5 fish

This is killing me.. Thanks for the laughs.. I just want to say before I start beating anyone up that if your feelings are honestly hurt then my apologies. That being said… Game on.
Grady, How ya been? I have been seeing Chris around but I haven’t been able to fish much with work. I am thinking a career change is in order. If you are making a trip up and have room give me a ring. Have you switched over to the darkside ( Triton ) yet or are you still in a Ranger?

Slee, you are right I am a “has been” @ 35 years of age and quite proud of it. I am sorry, Where did you say you go???? EA high school… In this light being called a has been kind of like my 7 year old saying “Daddy, your Old”.. Priceless.
Well, I was thinking of offering a little challenge but I am really not up to asking your parents for permissions to take you fishing so it will have to wait a while. BTW, how is that snoopy rod treating ya? I have been tearing them up on anything I toss using the Mickey Mouse bobber. Most fish are 2.5lb 20inch fish.

Fair enough. JHall, I know you still fish tourneys and are on top of your game. I have no beef with what you say.

JC has not fish tourneys since 2004. That does make him a has been. He did win the state tourny and that is quite an accomplishment.

I have never seen Blue Flecks (TD) name on the top of any tourny results.

    Just keeping it real man

If ripping on a young man about his opinion on how to fish tournaments is cool….and belittling him in the process….then I will stay uncool.

Fishing is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get.

At this point, time doesn’t allow me to fish much, so I’m just happy to be out there when I can.

Fun thread though…it’s definitely good for a few laughs…keep it comin’!

    I appreciate the links….but all that proves…..is that he is a back-seat has-been!

    Anything after 2004?

JC, you are on the IDA field staff???? They actually let you post like you do? I have never seen more arrogant and cocky posts on any site. Now he needs a snoopy pole and parents permission????? CHILL OUT…….. better yet, don’t post on here anymore, it was peaceful for awhile.

Not to involve myself in this at all, (But I’m going to anyway), but one would think if one was going to take a shot at Blue and start name calling, and accusing folks of being has beens, one would post links of one’s own, very recent top five tourney finishes, have you any such links??? If not, perhaps it’s time to stop. I live in a glass house, and have the sense to keep my rocks in my pocket………………..

Thanks Jeremy for making an attempt at my vindication. I feel that SLee has a jaded perspective of me that will be forever tarnished. There’s not much more I can say about that.

I apologize to everone for how far this thread has gone off topic. In the many years I’ve been here, I’ve never seen a thread do what this one has. Am I to blame? To some degree yes. That being said, this is the last post I’ll make in this thread.

    To Mr. Lee

I’ve afforded you as much patience & courtesy as I can stand. Not sure where the need to hurl insults came from and why you find it necessary to call me names. I’m a big man, stuff like that is is like water off a duck’s back. If I need to put it another way, the thickness of my skin goes for miles. If you wish to challenge the depths of my resolution, I welcome you to try. It’ll only prove fruitless.

I’m sorry you live in a world that is so 2 dimensional by which you have to base your opinions of people and their talents on how well they do in a tournament(s). I choose not to fish tournaments. I choose not to chase the carrot in the BFL. If that makes me a poor angler in your eyes, then so be it. I can only guess that every morning you wake up and take the blue pill so you don’t have to face reality. The reality is, there’s lots of great anglers like myself who choose to not follow the (tournament)road you feel they should. If that makes them poor anglers in your eyes then shame on you.

Again, you are welcome to continue the flurry of insults and you are welcome to call me whatever you see fit. Your comments won’t make me any less of a man nor any less of an angler.

I wish you a great day and an even better weekend.
