    Where are all the ida boys for the monday night bass tournament? sign up is ten bucks at ace anytime before the monday of the contest. launch is anytime after 4pm and weigh in is 9 at the middle landing at goose. two bass limit per boat, whether single or partnered. It’s been taking right aroud six to win. Pays out 100% to 1st %50, 2nd %30, 3rd %20

    I think you’re competing against the tourney that takes place at the lower landing below the Dresbach dam every Monday. I know a lot of guys find that to be more convenient for them, than driving down to Goose Island.

    If I had to choose I’d take the tourney below the Dresbach dam.

    Yep, for me, going to Dresbach is much closer and quicker. I wouldn’t mind fishing the Goose area, but a 45+ minute drive from Holmen isn’t very economical for a few bucks

    Northwoods and I are going to try to do a few of these this summer. Just been too busy to this point in the summer.

    For me, Goose is a lot more convenient location wise than pulling through town to Dresbach or Clinton. I’m glad there’s a variety of clubs to choose from.

    Hey Kevin,

    My brother and I are planning on getting in a couple of these, but it’s been busy with baseball. We just picked up the info sheet at Ace and are looking forward to our first tournament experience some time soon. We fished Goose for the first time today and took one 17″ largemouth, so that’s a start and perhaps competitive if we can get another in the tournament situation.

    Kevin, I’ll be fishing as soon as we get a new lower unit on my boat. Should be 1-2 weeks. I have been extremely busy as well..One rule that I don’t like however is the one where you can’t be on the water before the tourney. That is painful when you have the whole day off and want to be on the water

    We’re not in it today, but just fished the area Friday. My bro has a game tonight. Looking forward to some camaraderie in the near future with these tourneys, though.
