Nice fish! What stretch of river were you on? I used to fish from Melrose to North Bend. Done pretty well on walleye, but haven’t seen bass that large. There’s some decent muskie in that river I hear.

The whole river is extremely good fishing but tough to do because of the shallowness. This was above Melrose although I spend most of my time from Melrose to NB also since I grew up in NB.

I will dig up the pic of the 43″ Ski I caught last year. Caught some smaller ones this year. A kid from up that way caught one that went 50+” this year.

Dave and the whole family are good friends of mine and my family. Dave goes up north muskie fishing with us every year during Halloween..

The fish was between Black River and Melrose..

Definately a small world. Dave McDonald was a year behind me in high school at GET. We were total screw offs together in wrestling practice. His brother Mark was in my class. Nice guys.

Hey, the Redmen are 5-0 so far. We pounded Arcadia last week 48-6. It was 35-0 by the start of the 2nd quarter. They look pretty good. We have to get by Black River Falls yet, and La Crescent.
