Been getting a few bass pitchin and flippin on the Tremp. lakes lately. Nothing big but at least getting a few. Pike are still on a tear using rattle traps.

I got eleven Fri. evening, mostly “footballs”, then blanked Sat. (Pool 8). It appears a nasty cold fron has come through…feels like winter! My fish were on wing dams. I don’t get the river sometimes…I can’t find a bass on 90% of the laydowns or marina docks. Since the drawdown, I expected laydowns in current to produce, seeing as how it’s deeper, moving water, but I haven’t found anything. It’s all wing dams! Even rip rap has sucked.
