Well I talked myself into fishing a tournament on pool 14 on 6/6. So I decided that since I have not been on that pool in almost a year, I should go out and pre-fish. By the time I got off work this morning and came home and got the boat and got over to the ramp it was already 9:00.
I started working a back water area with a buzzbait, 1st cast I landed a 10″ bass. That was followed by a 13″ bass about 2 min later. I thought I had a good thing going but then it stopped and I had to pick up a spinner bait. I caught 16 more bass on the spinnerbait (three different colors). I also landed one ugly dog fish on a tube. I thought I finally had a good fish on until I got him to the top.
I did not land a legal keeper today 
. My trouble with finding keepers the last three weeks showed it self again today. That is 3 different pools and only a handfull of keepers. I hope I can change that on Wednesday night.
I think I am going to fish that area for sure, there has to be bigger fish around RIGHT????? I have one spot I am going to try first, it is usually good for one keeper.
Well I hope I can have a better post with pictures on Wednesday.
