This morning my partner at work, Jared and I did a little fishing on the river..Started out good and early as he had other obligations at noon..The water was MOVIN very fast and made it tough to fish…We were on the upper mississippi..We boated several small Smallmouth and many little Pike…We used topwater for most of the morning and even had severl small pike hit those which is always fun…Jared had maybe a 35inch Musky follow up to the boat but never got it in..It was a wierd morning as we never got one smallie over the 15 inch mark…Here some picks of a few of the small ones but they were still a blast to catch on the topwater lures..We also had luck with white spinners and white tubes..It was a great morning…Good fishing..Jay
