Drawdown on Pool 6, 8,9?

    Does anyone know what the Corps and the FWS’s plans are now for the drawdown that was supposed to take place this summer on 6 and 9 (was 8 included too?)? Just curious if the mid-summer high water affected plans, or if they will start the drawdowns now.

    the drawdowns were canceled for the year for 6+9.

    I’m not sure about 8 and 9, but I read that the draw down on pool 6 was postponed because there is a campground( can’t remember the name) that would of had to close down due to large sand bar in front of it. They were planning on dredging the area, but the Corps of Engineers wouldn’t have had enough time to complete it in time.

    The campground was KOA, He said his boats would not be able to make it through the channel out to the main channel.
