We’re thrilled to announce the addition of Jeremy Crawford to our Field Staff Team and as co-moderator for the Missisippi River Bass forum. Jeremy has been a regular on the site here now for some time and has demonstrated his knowledge of river bass fishing, and bass fishing in general, to the benefit of all of us. Jermey is also an active bass tournament angler participating in several tournament trails and frequently places well, including several tournament wins.

A bit more about Jeremy, in his own words… “I would most closely define myself as an angler by saying that I am a cerebral fisherman. I subscribe to understanding the fish and correlating ecosystems as to make educated decisions for any given period. Many people think that only way to become better is to “have time on the water”. I understand their way of thinking but an ounce of biology is worth a summer of fishing. I am an avid bass fisherman and fish most every weekend with a few week long trips in the mix. I enjoy fishing the Team Supreme Circuit in both MN and the Super North.

I have a 3 year old son and an a committed father and husband. I enjoy teaching people how to fish and just what the fish are doing.

    Welcome Jeremy!~

Great news Jeremy and BF. Now James can take me off as moderator, since I’m always on the water or away.

Noooooo!! No addition by subtraction. Co-moderator! We don’t want to lose Lawrence by adding someone. We want to have a stronger team! That way, when you’re gone (everyone’s gone tourney fishing or guiding some times, right?!) there’s someone there to carry the ball. More info = better forum = busier website! That’s good for everyone!~

Great quote, JC. Glad to see your stepping up and in… look forward to your moderation. Now, can you keep us all fired up!

I’m headed out tomorrow night (Wed) on Pool 8… anything worth mentioning? Smallies or Largies most active… Goose Island area doing anything?

My guess… no one will talk to me! I believe there are 3 tourney’s this weekend on 8 and 9? Cancer for Relay, the Region 5 BASS Qualifier, and I heard of another but cannot remember… tight lips, I’m sure.

Nevertheless, I will share what I find out tomorrow – hope to see some suggestions before I head out tomorrow evening… (now, did the guilt work…)

No problem at all. I really felt a little funny moderating with so many out there with a lot more bass experienced than me. Jeremy is near a computer all the time and I sure am not. Like I said in my PM. I am gone a lot either fishing
from dawn till dusk or on business. BK knows his Bass too. Great addition and can only make the whole site stronger.

I’ve fished a few tournaments with Jeremy and we belong to the same BASS club. You’ve made a good choice by making Jeremy part of the staff. His factual updates can help us all prepare for our time on the water. Good luck Jeremy. Anything I can do to help, let me know.

    JC,
Good luck with your new “job”. I thought you were doing a fine job of moderating already but now have the title to go with the task. I feel that you are well respected on this site and on the water even if some people take some pot shots at you once in a while. Maybe too much pot in pot shots if you know what I mean!

    Tight lines.

Congrats on the new title, Jeremy! I just wonder if that bullseye on your chest won’t get bigger now! LOL!! At least you are able to do something about it with your newly-granted authority…hehe!! Keep the info flowing and let me know when you’re coming up.
