Today was the day of the second Junior bass club of the season for the River Road Junior Bassmasters. Although most struggled to bring in big weights, More people seemed to actually have fish to weigh in this time, as compared to last tournament. The fish continue to be very much scattered for the most part, but there are some areas that will produce a very quick stack of fish if you are fortunate enough to find one of these areas. I personally had a pretty good day on the water and performed quite well. I had little errors and the ones I did have were fairly minor. The only thing that went wrong was having a stack of 16-18″ keepers dissappear on tournament day leaving only 13-1/2+ inch fish but of course these fish were >14″
I still ended up coming to the scales with 4 decent keepers with 2 smallies and 2 largemouth that went 8.86 lbs.
