I wanted to say thanks to all of those who responded quickly to my question about our launch situation on Pool 8. Knowing about the air show and tournaments helped us decide to choose 7th St. landing. It worked out just great. THANKS!
It was a busy day on the water for sure. Lots of boats everywhere. Fishing was pretty good. I was lucky enough to catch a couple dandies (5# smallie and just shy of 5# largie) to help get the win with 16.95 lbs. 2nd place was Jason Smith with 12.15. I believe he is an IDA member, but not sure of his handle. The ever famous Mr. John Stears was 3rd with 11.40.
Also a special thanks to Nature boy who was kind enough to make some calls to the Sherrif’s office on Friday to give me some final information on moving launch locations. Thanks Kevin!
