    Guys

This is my first day back after being away for 5 days. It looks like there have been some highs and lows during the period. Some good probing questions, some good feedback and some crap.

I would suggest we stop for a minute and look at the image of the guys at the top of our sport. There isn’t a shortage of role models. I’m sure we don’t get all the information but what you see is integrity, humility, respect for each other and gentlemanly behavior. This behavior is at all levels, the rookies, the veterans, the young and the old. There is a very high code of conduct that is self-imposed. How often do you see any of the major tournament organizations have to take any action?

Maybe we should follow the leader!

For those of you who enjoy following these pros, check out http://www.bassfan.com, they have a lot of good info especially in the “dock talk” section. This site reports on just about every pro circuit out there.

One thing I did find interesting was Aaron Martens was caught fishing without a valid fishing license during the FLW on Lake Wheeler. Wheeler FLW 2ND-place finisher Tim Horton (my favorite bass pro) doesn’t want to comment and FLW Outdoors doesn’t want to comment on any rule changes they may be considering.

Check it out, it really is a good site!

Timmy Horton is the man. He by far is the best damn fisherman out there.
