Hey Everyone! I’m back from my usual winter hiatus. What can I say? Ice + school = no fishing for me. Looking forward to hanging around the message boards and talking fishing with you all! Good to be back and good to be starting another summer season! 
Anyway, heading out tomorrow on Pool 8. Had a few fish when I was out last Saturday up shallow around a point. Looking to spend more time out there tomorrow. Anybody else been out lately and experiencing a good bite?

I spent the last weekend planting trees and cutting grass so no fish for me. Good luck on your trip out and post some pic’s for us.

Yeah, the countdown is on. Beautiful weather out today, pretty warm for the time I was out there which ended up being only from 1-3. I caught one little largemouth in the Black River. Ugh…time for a new spot next time out. We have to fix the winch on our trailer now, too, so I’m technically out of commission as well.
