I must have been crazy today. I got off work this morning at 6:45 and went home and slept untill 11:45. The wind was really blowing when I fell asleep but it looked much better after I got up. So I headed over to the lower end of pool 13.
I got to the ramp to see 1.5 foot waves everyplace. I did find one of my favorite areas that was out of the wind. I usually do well when the pads just start growing. But today there was still no weed growth. I fished for 2 hours with out a hit. Then I started fishing one of my home made swimjigs around a few stumps that were getting some waves crashing on them. Then I hooked into a fat 15″ bass. My first fish on one of my jigs 
The jig was white w/blue flake.
I did not get another fish the rest of the time I was out but I was happy with just that one.
