I finally got a chance to use the ideas that you guys gave me about pouring my jigs.

At the tournament that I fished yesterday I had a few guys asking about the swim jig that I had tied on. They asked who made it. After I told them it was home made they started talking about how they like tossing a 1/4 ounce swim jig.

So today I decided to make up some 1/4 ounce jigs. I poured four jigs after leaving the mold on top of my pot to preheat. All four came out great

I cut the weed guard down to 12 strands on the one I painted up. I painted it in junebug. I have the perfect clear water area to use it in about 3 weeks .

    That does look nice.

Can’t tell by the picture but what are you using for the skirt holder? You’ll want to tie that baby up permanently with thread and glue or with wire to keep the skirt from moving around.

Of course don’t do that until you figure out how to arrange the skirt such that the jig won’t go unstable and flip over, even at high speeds.

Looks like you have a great start there!
