I off work yesterday morning and headed home to wait for my new counter top to show up(birth day gift for my wife). After they arrived I tried to sleep but that was not happening. So at noon I headed to the river

I have a tournament next Tuesday so I figured I should get out and try and catch a few cold water fish. I fished all my normal spots and because of the high water I even fished new spots with out a bite.
The water was between 38-41.5 deg. the warm water was only about 1.5 foot deep. It was horible!!! I hope it warms up some in the next week. I don’t know what to do to get a fish to bite when its this cold.
