pool 10 weekend report

Here is my weekend report from poo 10

I will be up on pool starting friday am through sunday- how is the water level? I looked at the stages and it looks like it is on the way up but stage at McGregor still <10, about what it was the weekend of june 20-22 except rising instead of falling. can anyone confirm this? I will be mostly north of Prairie in Swift, McDonald, and Harpers slough searching for bass. Sounds like the fish were biting well again last weekend, anybody been out this week to give a report on flow, stage or productive patterns? Thanks in advance. ps- How crazy will it be by 1000 am? I plan to fish early and beach with the kid when it gets busy. Any fireworks shows on the river in Prairie, Marquette, etc?

Starting Friday befor 10am the river traffic should be up to about half swing….By noon, 1-o’clock it should be buzzin with boats…If you keep to the back sloughs for bass and pike you should stay out of the main flow of traffic…

As far as fireworks…Eastman(north on hwy 27 out of PdC) will have the best fireworks around on the 4th and on the 5th Marquette Ia. will have some fantastic fireworks over the river…
