Nevin is the fateher and Mike is hardly his son. -grin- Chase on the other hand took 2nd and is nevins son. They do well in this and the next tourney every year. They found some little honey hole. Last year it gave up 20lbs. From the looks of the numbers it was a tough bite. Typically it would take 20 to get a win.

HEY PITBULL, GET YOUR SORRY BEHIND UP NORTH AND LET’S SEE
HOW THE OLD CHAMPION STACKS UP WITH THE REST OF THE GUY’S.TWENTY YEAR’S AGO NAMES LIKE “PORKEY”MEYER AND SCHRIENER,ACKLEY AND MILLER WERE TEACHING YOUNG FOLK ABOUT MIGRATION ROUTES!!! INTERSTING CONCEPT, UH! HOW ABOUT THOSE HOT SPOTS!! PROBLEM NOW IS, PREFISHING IS DONE WITH SPOTTING SCOPES AND BINOCULARS. IT GETS TOUGH TOO FISH THE OLD FASHION WAY; ROD AND REEL!! HOPE TO SEE YOUR LITTLE “JENNIE CRAIG BODY” ON THE WATER NOT ON THE WEB.

Well well big daddy is in da house now alls we need is flack attack and bone daddy the we could call this a family reunion

I may make my return next year…i’m chompin at the bit to fish the North div, Bone says you can’t fish a time or too and i’m coming in for relief …did they mark that old clam bed up there so i don’t beach the champion on it again and hafta yell at old perch jerkers for help again

I stopped hiring fat red heads so i have a little money now and maybe just maybe if all things go well i’ll be able to get me another pair of maui jims,my other pair are buried in about 5 feet of mud behind the duck blind

So what’s the side bet for K & K tourney this saturday or r u skeered???????

One last thing…turn your darn caps locks off,in the internet world caps on meens ur yellin at me or maybe you meant that

Ok no cap lock on now!! A comment was made that I think will kill this conversation. It goes somthing like this;”If you cash a check at a TEAM SUPREME TOURNEY you have on that particular day successfully beaten the BEST of the BEST”.When it takes 17lbs. to cash a 11th place check the competition is that good!! It is a proverbial who’s, who among river fisherman. IT’S kinda funny those are the same guy’s who seem to walk away with alot of the National Championchip money as well.

How about a new Fiche 175 vintage yr.1998? heard dredge cuts are hot on west side of SL. how’s about a canoe wiff paddwills should get you back to the days of ole stump jumper go go go diablo!!!!!!!! Sounds like you get your $$ worth in spades just for entering K&K’s Tourney! Heard your legs were shorter than your torso is that true? Also heard you finally found your belt! You shoulda looked under your stomache first. Ah well simple mistake see ya. BD280

We love the new guys. We welcome the new guys with open arms and hope they enjoy their time here and learn and share right along with the rest of us.

I just want everyone to know this place is for exchanging fishing info, talking river conditions,… some of the stuff I’ve seen out of a couple first time posters was fluffy and WAY off subject and looked to me to be headed in a direction we don’t need to go.

I was simply implying that I didn’t know half of the guys posting on here and they don’t have any bio info.. Not that that is bad I was just curious where they are all coming from. I am not complaining a bit. I am actually quite excited that they might be able to interject some original though and help collaborate on some new ideals.

I fish the river most days and and on that tourney day it would have been hard to put a top 30 weight on the board. Hey wait a second I took Sunday off. Seriously though the things that seperates me from almost all the TS guys is #1 I don’t concentrate on just Bass, and secondly when I do it still amazes me that many of them have consistantly brought in large bags tourney after tourney after tourney. Don’t misunderstand I have some very serious bags throughout a weeks time but not every time out and some days the average weights are pretty sad. The third thing that puts a huge gap between TS regulars and myself is the incredible investment in boat, gear, tackle. I really find it hard to come right out and say they are the best of the best, because I see a lot of you on the water that don’t necessarily tourney fish that seem to have a bass magnet on the end of your fishing rods. All in all I only have these things to say… tourney in and tourney out a lot of these guys are scarey . Fearing them is out of the question , but not respecting their abilities would be just plan nuts.
