    Jeremy,

Did the river eat your Prop? Or are you trying to squeeze
a couple more MPH’s out of the ol’ Merc?

    Well,
You know me. Rock pile here, Sandbar there.
I bet if you were to weigh it I would be a few ounces off what a new one weighs. -lol-
I have a couple blades that are sure chewed up.

    Oh the Power of Suggestion!

Last night, in an after work club T, I did some
modification to my Raker, on a long rocky point, that must
have grown longer over winter We did take 1st, so there
is a small consolation, as I write out the check to pay
to have the Raker made right.

    Congrats you Dog!!!!
Im beginning to think that FTR brings good tournament fortune while equipment suffers.
Good Job on the Win.. Were you back on one of your moraine lakes again.. I pitty the guys who try to compete with you in this setting. I remember last year when we were talking about that little mesa / oli lake in my back yard. Your thinking was right on. Thanks again, And thanks for the Spinnerbait skirts you sent. They will work just fine.. The other ones you sent me here a touch greener inthe chart catagory… Almost glowing.
    Later Dude!

    Jeremy,

Yup it was a classic clear moraine lake setting, and the
fish were where the book said they’d be . Or at least
my book. The better fish had pulled back off the bedding
flats, and were holding on the points, leading into the
spawning flats. There were some males already guarding
beds, but more were just cruising looking for a quick
meal before getting down to business. The girls we boated
were ripe, but still staging, for the most part. I did
take two nice females heavy with eggs, in shallow
water, in the back of black bottom bays. Looking for
a last meal of amphibians, I would guess, before going
looking for some stud bass. That BPS tube, you sent me
a few years back, that is now OUT OF PRODUCTION, did the
damage. I sure am glad I laid a 10 year supply in before
they dissappeared These fish up here just HATE that
tube. So, here is a thanks back at you. As for the skirts,
send me one of you old tattered ones, and I can match it,
if I can still get the material.
