Well, It looks like this weekend I will make it up to pool 10 for some bassin (my first trip up this year). From previous posts it sounds like the fish will be post spawn. I have always seemed to have trouble with the dropping water (which is anticipated). Will the fish retreat to deeper sanctuaries with dropping water (and how far- out of backwaters or within them), or stay close to the bank as it falls. Also, were they spawning up close to the banks in high water or out in deeper areas? I appreciate any help anyone can give me, since I have not had time to “prefish” for my weekend and would like to have some clue as to where to start in terms of depth and presentation. Thanks, JJ
