I plan on fishing the Lansing Division this year. This is a great tournament series that is ran in a very professional manor. The entry fee is low, and they have a great payback.

great payback ..here is there payback 16. PAYBACK: Cash payback will be 1 payback for every 10 boats.

So if they get 50 boats they will pay back 5 places…that is the worst payback for any trail!!

And they don’t even tell you what % of the money they are paying back or garantee a $1000 either…somebody is making a killin, and it sure ain’t the fisherman!!!!

Hey pibull, do the math. That is 10% of the field. That is a pretty standard operating procedure for most bass tournaments. The BFL used to do that and now went to a 15% of the field payback. I highly doubt the organizers of this tournament trail are going to try to rip the fishermen off.

To anyone out there, is there a website for this trail? If so, could you please post it somewhere in this forum?

Thanks, my question now is, what day is it? The one page says it’s on the 22nd of June and the other page says it’s on the 21st. The 21st of June is when the BFL rolls in to town. I don’t think they would want to compete for anglers against the BFL crowd.

I have fished a few of the BWS tournys out of Lansing and they are very well organinzed and pay out just fine. More boats more money it is that simple. If I had more time I would fish the entire series of events out of Lansing.

Pitbull like they say if you don’t like the rules don’t play the Game. Honestly the only reason I am fishing it other than the obvious pool choices is for a shot at the Ranger at the Championship. I won one in 99 and feel that that is really the whole deal. Lot’s of folks fish a series never intending to go to a nationals even if they qualify. Go figure, work at it and qualify and walk away from the big show. Odds are actually great if you believe in yourself, and terrible if you doubt every move you make. Next to Golf I can’t think of many sports where confidence plays a bigger role. And where does confiedence come from ,”It’s all about time on the Water”.
