Well,
We kicked off our second club tourney of the year and as luck would have it, I managed to win the second one as well. The fishing was a little tough unless you were pitching at 6” round lay downs. The heavy sun pushed these fish under the cover and made spinnerbait fishing difficult. This was a small blessing for me since I seldom use them as a tourney tool. We boated a limit in the first 30 minutes. After waiting out the fog we ran to Graymore. This proved to be a bust as we only boated about 15 fish and the they were all males. We finished up on the south end of the pool and stuck a 4lber with 15 minutes left to go. Let this be a reminder that every minute counts. My club partner was a joy in the boat, so all in all, I had a blast. I weighed in 5 fish 13lbs. Not to good by normal standards but good enough on this 10th day of May.
