Well, now that I’ve marked the date off on the calandar, barring an emergency, I’ll likely be going. I’m thinking about fishing for bass this year instead of ‘eyes. It’s not that I have anything against the little buggers – I just suck at fishing for them.
Anyone else going for the green at the GTG?

Go back up to the General Discussion forum and you’ll see info on the FTR Get Together. We have a free tournament every year at the event. 
Little cash wont be bad but I will hopefully be there to meet more people and learn as much as I can.
P.S. I hope there will be plently of sandwiches like at the LPO
From what I remember of last year’s event – nobody went hungry.
I don’t think they had money giveaways, sponsors donated prizes, I think the top bass and walleye (single largest fish tourney) got some pretty spiffy rods. Lots of stuff for the kids, etc.
I was just wondering what sort of competition I would be in for if I entered the bass tourney this year instead of the walleyes. I’m not much of a walleye fisherman, although I try my darndest, and could probably at least weigh a fish if I go after the bass.
