Mississippi RIver pool 13

    Has anyone been fishing pool 13 lately, I will be out there for a long weekend this week. I suppose the bass should be pretty active right now, Also any northerns still in the shallows? I am going in around Galena IL but could just as easily run down to Savanna. JP

    Pool 13 is very tough right now…i’d try pool 12,that place can get hot when the water is dropping!!

    Funny you should say that, after looking at my map I am going to be on pool 12. Any spots you can recomend? I am going to put in near Galena, IL.

    I’ve done good along the ski resort..i’m gonna hafta bust out the map and check out sum names..i know there is a harbor a little north of there that can be hot!

    spend all day in pinoak. You will fill your livewell with bass, If you are out for fun try Browns… If you like a croud go to spring lake or Potters marsh. If you want to cash a check at a tournament then I’ll see you in…..

    Do you fish any tourneys on pool 13 or just fish that pool Mr. crawford

    Mr Crawford…. What the heck is going on… “Hey dad, Someone wants you on the internet” -grin-
    I have been known to fish a few tournaments and yes I frequent this pool. I can tell you just about where every stump and sand bar is located. I have to admit that I have been concentrating on tournament in the pool 8 area lately because I like the competition up there. Pool 13 has been an easy pool for myself as well as my old partner Chad. I can honestly say that I think the worst we ever finnished in a tourney over there was 7th… You make the call. Hell I just like to fish, and when I compete I never assume my money is just donation.

    Damn it seems like you’ve done your home work on that pool..what circuit did ya fish???

    Did ya ever beat herburger on that pool
