I’d wager Mossboss will be doing cartwheels after seeing this.

Zoom has (re)introduced the “New” G-Tail Worm. I can’t wait to pick up a few bags of those “New” plastics!! They have great list of colors too.

Black, Black/Grape/Pearl Blue, Black/Pearl Blue, Green Pumpkin, Junebug, Junebug Red, Red Shad, Watermelon Red, Watermelon Seed

Berkley has their own version out also. Click here to see what they look like.

    Just what I needed…..more plastics….

Cut off two inches and that baby will make a heck of a trailer.

The Zoom ones look sweet, dang near an exact copy.

Now if they would only come back in black grape/silver metalflake!

Looks a lot like the Mann’s Hardnose worms.

Looks like it may be a good replacement for Yums croaker curttails that have been discontinued. Walleyes love them.

I’ve got to believe the Hardnose worms were born from the Gatortail design. The Hardnose plastics are a great bait. I really enjoyed using them last year.

The original Gator Tails had much more thump than the Hardnose, and were a thicker worm.

We will see where the zoom falls on the spectrum.

I also used the Hardnose last year and liked them.

This makes me very happy!! I posted on here about a year ago and have been searching for a replacement for gator tails. Ive been using the berkeley flippin tail power worm the last couple years (which were not being actively produced but were available) since i ran out of gator tails but I like the original and the berkeley colors were limited by what i could find at old stores and on ebay. Tried the manns but i didnt think it had as much thump to it.
I hope the zoom design will be adequate and they usually make good baits. I like to fish them with a pegged ~3/16 bullet and swim them slowly through trees and brush- almost a finesse swim jig of sorts which comes through hard brush well.

Interesting, berkeley appears to have brought back more colors based on this bps link. The other strange thing is that most of my berkeley are labeled as 5″ flippin tail power worm, these and the zoom are 6″ which should give a little more bulk for the old man
