Re-Cooled water and Spawning?

Alright, now that we are brought back to the real MN weather down from the 70-90’s of earlier this week I have a question. When the river temp was 55 we started getting some fish snappen, a few of them were not the wondrous bass but the fighter of the walleye family Mr. Sheepie . I am told they are up spawning in the rocks. With the cooler water temps does the spawn stop and then continue once the temps jump back up or will they continue? If so should there bite continue as well? Hope this is not to foolish of a question I could use some knowledgeable info on this cause it may also impact smallies, ect.
