Pool 6

    Was wondering if anyone has had any luck on pool 6? i will be doing some fishing up there this next week and would appreciate any suggestions on where to go. Is anyone getting a smallie bite there yet?

    Hey Bassman,
    I live in Winona and fish pool6 at times. So far I have had little luck. The temp changes will soon help. They has been persons below the dam doing alright.

    Just thought I would let people know that the 19th was a awsome day to be on pool 6. Rising water and dropping temps. What could be better? Anyway, despite that, I had the best bass fishing on that pool ever. I boated about twenty legals on a jig-n-pig that day. I you were fishing wood with a mud bottom, you were catching bass. If anyone needs more info drop me a line.

    are those LM or smallies? sounds like you had a good day…. what was the water temp out that way?

    Rigman,

    The water temp was 51 degrees that day and I personally caught LM, but I know people who caught SM in the same areas that had a sandy bottom. And yes it was a great day of fishing.
