Spent a little time on 10 today. Managed to catch alot of short fish off eel grass. Tried some slop fishing with no success (the areas I usually fish now have very little current). Finally switched to flipping wood in fairly heavy current and managed to land some nice fish with the biggest being around 4 pounds. The fish seemed to be real tight to the cover. Also tried a creek inlet for some northerns but since the river temp dropped they seem to have left.

    Birdman,
Just curious what section of pool 10 you were fishing. I fish the Prairie Du Chien area every weekend. The past week I was over there on vacation and caught a lot of fish to. Only got 15 keepers the whole week. All fish released. Did manage to get 4 pike. All while fishing for bass. Had another 5 or so break the line.
