Pool 7/8 Bass Bite?

I was looking at going out Sunday on 7/8 for some bass. Are they in there winter mode or are they still in the shallows hitting shad? I have never been good at Smallies and any additional info on their behavior would be appreciated also. Thanks, Sumo.

We fished up around the dam area on Pool 8 today from 11-2:30ish…nothing, nada, not even a bite. It was cold out there. Anyone else been out lately?

Last week, we fished down in the Bluff Slough area. There were some shad down there, but we didn’t see too much action. I’m not sure what the deal is right now, to be honest. I’m going to be out Thursday and Friday this week as I have the days off. I hope it gets a little warmer!

i guess this post is too late, but i did well on thursday in the Gravel pit. we flipped plastic (sweet beavers and immitants) to all types of wood. We weren’t out long but i caught 3 keepers and my friend caught 1. I garuntee with a days time on the water, you could catch a double limit back there. Its tough but they’re there and they are starting to size up I didn’t get out fishin this weekend but look for somethin this week. I might be able to squeeze a night back down there again later this week and especially on the 4 day weekend

Keep an eye out for a red Lund boat down there Thursday or Friday mid-morning to afternoon. That’ll be me!

i caught 3 keepers with the bigest going 17″ with a bunch of dink fish tonight in the pits tonight, the bite is still going at a little honey hole max and i have on the minnesota side of the river to , i will be out wednesday night and thursday with max, possibally hitting up some sewer trout
