Nick and i were out fishing today at goose for a few hours. All we used were Brovarney swim jigs. This guy knows how to make good jigs. Near the bridge nick lost a 2 smallies and had some hits and i had several pike hits but no landed fish. We worked these things inside the park more and i caught my first swim jig bass ever. We just pulled them in, around, and through slop and other types of cover. These things work http://brovarneybaits.com/

    LOL…

I use brovarneys a lot myself and they are mighty fine. I won’t lie, i was using an RC today and it worked great but i didn’t have any good brovarney colors so i threw the RC instead. Both brands make nice jigs but brovarney’s come thru cover so much better IMHO……

I like booyah spinnerbaits and have 2 of the swim jigs. I haven’t thrown them though because they are 1/2 ounce and i’m just not comfortable with that heavy of a jig. Maybe i’ll try it out sometime and see how it works out.

well this past weekend i was up at my uncles getting my boat (14″ v with 15 horse and a troling motor) and i was fishing his lake. I’d have to say i hammered the pike with those brovarney jigs. 6 pike in 2 hours. I also had 2 broken lines and several missed fish.
