Hey Guys, I need some help. It is my first Summer on the mighty Mississippi and I am having troubles locating legal bass. I know to look for current flow, but I am still having a tough time. I have the BWSTA this weekend and I need to find some fish. Can anyone help me out? “Toad” and I would be very thankful for any suggestions. It is our first real tourney and we don’t want to be at the weigh-in with a skunk. Thanks for any help.

Can’t help you with the boat but overhead cover in current is important right now. This tree is in a side channel with moderate flow. You can fish it several ways. If the fish are actice let the current float a fluke under the snot. If the fish are less active find a lure to punch through the seeds and flip it.
