    Morning trip Mr. Barnes caught a 19 inch smallie with a 16 inch girth.. my digital scale won’t zero so I wanted to give him a weight estimate. ????

    Try this one. With the numbers you provided that fish would come in at 4.8 pounds. Nice Smallie!

    It still amazes me how massive some smallmouth genes make them. I know I have caught a 21 incher with less girth than this one… it was almost shaped like a giant Bluegill.. Nathan got a shot of it along with his 27 inch walleye from the day before… and the nice LM they got today so in a week when they get back to North Carolina I should have some pictures. Thought I would have them tonight but apparently not all Canon Digitals us the same data transfer cable… anyway thanks for the answers.. I think there used to be a fish weight computer on this site but I couldn’t find it.
