    Like I said! Catching a walleye with a leech or minnow is like setting a bowl of macaroni in front of a 10 year old! OF COURSE they are going to eat it! How tough is that?!

    Oh cummon now, don’t let the Dripper get this off on the wrong foot. I feel having him around is a little like including the “slow” kid in the neighborhood in all the pick-up games. You don’t really WANT to have him on your team but your mom expects you to do it so you give in and pick him last to keep her happy.

    LipRipper’s the biggest bass wannabe on the site. He is even holding a bass in his pic for chrissakes. He wakes up at night just sweating and smiling with dreams of being on the big stage at the Bassmasters Classic and getting all that adoration on ESPN, then he realizes he is better at fishing those boring gold colored fish that fight like a wet stick, and he realizes the top goal of a walleye pro is to be on the big stage of a tourney on Local access channel #29.

    It’s OK Rob, just give in and admit you just want to be a bass pro!

    Well truth be told since “WE” did invade your Bass forum is: I love to chase smallies and doing it with top water is even better. It is a great way to mix up the summer and this is the time of year I start looking to do so. I can’t wait matter of fact. I will occasionally chase Largies, but only if I’m forced too. Not my cup of tea. What is my cup of tea is pushing a few buttons on you “Bass” guys. You guys are the only reason I leave my avatar as is. Man, you guys get riled up when I start poking fun! Bring on the smallies!

    The Lip means no harm or disrespect, just funnin’ with a few guys that have posted in this thread and a few others.

    Slop I will work on a pic just for you where she has the swimsuit and holding a Bass.

    Ripper, if you like topwater fishing, you need to get on a good slop bite sometime and some of those blowups with make you heart jump. You’ll have a better appreciation of largies then. I hear chipmunks may work…….

    There is a specific reason I have musky baits painted up to mimic smallies and grass carp………

    MUSKIES LOVE THEM and that is the ONLY true fish to spend time topwater fishing!!!!!!!!

    How you clowns can’t catch a bass on top water still amazes me!!!!!!!!

    Those sewer trout are way too easy to catch. Lil Ripper drug me all over Mille Lacs(trolling no less…) for an entire afternoon. Sure we caught a lot of ‘coon bait. It may have been fun, but if I would have known I could catch bigger ones Bass fishing, I’d have ditched his sorry arse at the landing.

    27.5″ on a Team Supreme tube, 6ft St. Croix Elite and 8lb P-line. That sewer trout never had a chance….

    D-Nort ask Blue, We went Walleye fishing and he caught the only 2 Northern of the Day. Leave it up to “Rough Fish Tom”, to bring in those slimers!
