Wow what a slow day my partner and I had on pool 13 yesterday. Our blast off was at 5:00 with the weigh in at 3:00. It was a small club tournament, with only 6 boats. Three boats brought in a limit. We brought one fish in!! I had one keeper on horney toad but my reel broke and he got into the weeds and came off. We did have a ton of fish, but most were under 12″. It did not matter what we used all we could get were short fish. Between the two of us we had 35 short fish.
1st place team weighed in 15+ and they also had big bass. That fish was 20 1/8″ and weighed 5-3. That was one of the biggest river fish I have ever seen. It was really fat and healthy.
Alot of other boats out and they all said the same thing that it was slow.
