    What’s the best way to clean out your livewells, and how often do you do it?

    use a small amount of bleach then rinse well!

    If you happen to have an oxygenator I would not recommend any bleach. Just warm water an some basic dish soap. A toothbrush comes in handy for the tough to reach areas and to clean the face of the oxygenator. Ditto on the rinsing well part.

    10% bleach and water. I also recomend treating your livewells and blidge when you go from the river to a lake. It will kill zebra mussel pilagers (sp?) and keep em out of our lakes.
