The Bass fishing on pool 9 has changed considerably as the water levels and weather fronts have changed over the last two days. Largest change is from channel to backwater. There are still nice size fish caught each day on channel but mostly legal LM, and a lot fewer. While as expected in backwaters the average size of keepers has moved up. Largest fish yesterday was 3.75 today 3#s…(most around 3#s), also all larger,(over 15″), smallmouth have really slowed. Don’t know if they moved to usual places yet… already boats on some 7 or 8 spots for 2 days so I couldn’t get there to check.. Bass boats on most spots so my guess is yes. Everyone have a great weekend and catch some fish.

I would have to agree with you Lawrence. Friday saw several three lb fish on the main current. Saturday a little less and Sunday far fewer. We managed a limit on Saturday weighing about 12 lbs. Sunday’s weight a little less. A lot of fish were caught in the weeds Sunday that were not there Friday, so they are on the move. I couldn’t believe the change in weather. I’ll be glad when summer is back!

Yeah the same thing happened to my “hot spot.” the water has gone down like 2 feet since last week and with the weather/water temp change, my spot is pretty much obsolete for those bass now. They’ll come back to it once conditions get back to normal though i think. I did catch 2 and had a bunch of missed blow ups in the slop yesterday though..
