Taking the handle off a Tour Edition

    Does anyone know how to take the reel handle off of a Quantum Tour Edition??

    You might get a response if you post this in the general forum, as I do not think that most of the rod builders make it over here in the bass forums.

    First thing…the tour edition is a reel, not a rod……

    Hog—I contacted my Quantum Rep to see if they have detailed instructions…..I’ll call you later or shoot you an email

    Hog….they got back to me already…try this….let me know

    Between the star drag and the handle is a black part called a ratchet. While pushing the ratchet in towards the reel, turn the handle backwards

    then what is this stick in my garage thats about 7 ft long that has the words “Quantum Tour Edition” on it

    The fact he asked specifically on the REEL handle would be my first guess.

    I’ll trust my reel in the hands of any mississippi bass fisherman than a rod builder
