The main channel water temp at the Dresbach Dam has dropped 7 degrees in the last 3 days. It was 59 degrees on Thursday and it’s 52 degrees today.

It’s even worse in the backwaters!! I had a PILE of LM going in a little bay that had temps in the low 60s on Tuesday. Yesterday we went back to those fish for the MSBC tourney and the temp was 48!!! I think it got so cold because the water is relatively clear. Needless to say, they were gone. Fortunately, even despite a blown lower unit 5 minutes into the day and the honey hole with no fish, we were able to scramble and put together a good enough limit to finish just out of the money
A big thanks to Randy and Dick for both the loaner boat and delivering it to us!!!!

Same thing here, i was on a good bite on wednesday in clear water that was 59 degrees and went back saturday to find the water had dropped to 48. It’s rediculous! You think it’s ever going to stop raining?

Was on Pool 6 yesterday, and everywhere we went it was 56 degrees. Main channel, backwaters, never varied a degree.

I checked it more than once. It got to the point where I thought it wasn’t working, but it was working all last week, so I think it was accurate.

All the Humminbird is really good for is temp anyway.

Are you suggesting that it is still cooling down or warming up?

I’m headed for a day of vacation to fish Pool 9 Wednesday… any word on temp and what fish might be doing down yander? I’m no tourney guy (duh!), so I’d love a few PMs to make my day full of excitement…I’m taking my dad for the day…anyone want to make me a hero?

Not sure about pool 9, but the water temps were dropping through Sunday. I am sure they will be on the rebound by Weds though. Wish I could help you out, there is nothing better than putting a smile on a dad’s face with a good day on the water.
