FYI: If you signed up as a boater and aren’t linked. It is to your advantage to link to a non-boater. Plenty of Non-boater slots are still available.

(ii) Linking entries: boaters and non boaters who link themselves (evening the field of competitors) and pay their entry fees prior to the entry deadline date gain a guarantee that they will fish in each tournament they enter as a linked entry. (ii) Linking entries: boaters and non boaters who link themselves (evening the field of competitors) and pay their entry fees prior to the entry deadline date gain a guarantee that they will fish in each tournament they enter as a linked entry. Linked entries will be paired first. If more boaters enter than non boaters, non-linked boaters may be paired together based on date and time of entry. If more non boaters enter than boaters, some non-linked non boaters may not fish. Those who will not get to fish will be determined by date and time of entry. Non boaters who do not get to fish may elect to change to a boater and pay the appropriate entry fee, elect to have their money refunded, or transfer their entry fee to a future tournament. However, they must leave their entry fee in to maintain their Second Chance eligibility.

There are non-boater slots still available in MN? When do the pre-tourney meetings take place? I have some club tourneys I have committed to, but would like to possibly try some of these as a non-boater. If you’re looking for a non-boater, I might be interested.
