I love this wind! My kite business is flourishing.

There’s nothing like battling a kite with a 6ft Med Lite St. Croix Elite Series Spinning rod and 8lb P-line. Almost better that a 5lb Smallie.

    Blue,
I just got back from a walk to the bank and post office, and I think the kite setup now requires 50#PP and a 7000 abu baitcaster on 7′ MH St Croix rod.

Try working outside in this crap today in the wide open surrounded by sand It was and still is brutal out there. I can’t remember the last time I got frostbitten ears in the middle of May This weekends tourney should be a blast as well

I use blade dancers for the tails!!!

Chatterbaits work well too. BTW, has there been a more over-hyped lure?

Went out fishing today on a local lake and apparantly didn’t beach my boat good enough…After parking my truck/trailer I found my boat floating away and drifting quickly with the aide of the wind. Stripped down and went swimming Must have been 40 yards out from shore when I finally caught up to it. I have never been that cold in my life

Retrieving a boat like that is never fun. We lost a boat due to wind a couple years ago right before X-mas. It wasn’t pretty.

You guys think its bad for you… weather forEcast was for 20-40MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS winds today so for guide customers safety I postponed their FRI SAT trip on one of the prime weekends of the year, and I walk out today and barely a breeze. That means I just lost $325(OUCH). I don’t drink much beer so I’m crying in my Diet Pepsi.Do yah suppose the “National WE don’t have a clue forecasting service”, will send me a check????
