    Jones-in and I took forth overall and won Big Bass this Saturday. The big one weighs 6.39 pounds!

    That is a nice feeling seeing a fish that big come to the side of the boat during a tournament…usually that happens prefishing! Nice fish and congrats on the good finish

    Careful now, last year I posted a self-pic of a pig like that and I was attacked by a member or two that claimed that despite fishing the Riiver for 30 years +
    that no fish that big are possibly in the River. My tourney bud caught one 5.95lb only a mile from where I got mine. Sometimes it is hard to share the truth on this site because somebody always has to challenge you. Anyways, GREAT FISH!!!! I believe you!

    Would people believe me if I showed them the $1,600 check, big bass trophy, and 200 witnesses at the weigh-in?

    To clear things up though, if you read all the replies to the original post you’ll see that the fish did not come from the Mississippi River. It was a lake near Central Wisconsin. Although, I have seen quite a few 6+ pounders come out of the Ole’ Miss…
