Pool 13 4/11

I hit pool 13 on Tuesday with my little brother. We decided to go to spring lake. The wind was crazy, there were 2 foot waves coming accross Spring Lake. I started out with a rattle trap and had one Northern and a 3 pound bass in the first 4 cast. After 40 min we found a honey hole and spanked them. We ended up with 24 bass all but two were with in a 30 yard section of bank. They were stacked below a beaver damn. Or biggest 6 fish limit would have been about 15 pounds. I was happy.

Wednesday I hit my brothers pond again and caught 12 bass and the biggest Crappie of my life. It was 15″ but really skinny.

Thanks for the report. One of these days I am going to have to try Sprung Lake, I’ve never fished there.

Jeremy good report,did you get any crappies up in springlake?How were the water conditions?Its nice to get another pool 13 guy on here.I’m not much into the bass fishin but I sure like those crappies and walleyes.

I hit spring lake again today and the water was up more then the other day. Also the Carp are spawning and are all over. I was fishing a jig and caught a 20 pound buffalo and about a 15 pound carp. you could not cast with out hitting them. The only bass I found was small about 12″.

Water was all muddy but it looked like it was getting better. With these temps the bass will be up on the banks soon.
