d-nort..what is this…starting up some trash talking? Or do you know something the rest of us don’t? …If I was a betting man and he can fish, I would bet on that guy with the old stratos…but rest easy, I think he may only be able to fish here and there…but of course when you get to Bago. Then I’ll be following Mr. Jones. And since he will have a Ranger this year, I’ll be able to keep up with him….lol….

    So whats your prediction?????????

Of course I’m trying to stir the pot! We’re only a few months away and still no SMACK-TALKING yet. What gives?

First of all, I’m glad Marty hung it up this year because that frees up a top 30 spot (which he finishes EVERY year) . Hopefully he still shows up for one here and there.

    Winneconne- Jones? Who’s that?

    LMAO…….. is it soup yet?

Well let’s see…… since I’ll be in the back of the boat, and at the mercy of the boater……. it all depends on my draws, and if the guy I get is ON FISH! Hopefully I’ll get some of you “local boys” to taxi me around the river, and sit me next to a school of piggies every event.

If that happens, I’ll be on top of the co-angler list and be making plans to WIN my first regional! I see large amounts of cash in my fishy smelling hands, trophies lining the mantel of the fireplace that I don’t have, and a happy wife who won’t question why I’m going to fish the tourneys again next year!

    If I was a co-angler I’d be hoping for some non-local boys..EASTSIDE!

Oh and Zomby, this is not an accuarte statement. I know on a personal level that the guy in the front of the boat can catch 15# and the guy in the back not catch a fish all day . It really depends on the type of fishing the boater is on. Just hope your dude isn’t paralleling a seawall while letting the back of the boat rub on the seawall and blaming it on the wind .

On the flip-side, I know on a personal level that the boater can be on absolutely squat and the co-angler can cash a NICE check .

BHog is right though…draw one of us Eastsiders and you’ll be A-OK !

That can happen. A good friend of mine drew Tom Monsoor and beat him on his own fish.

    Keep the faith!

You guys better be thanking your lucky starz my tourney days are over….

Let the smack begin…..eastside…westside..you all sound like a Velwick wanna be.. ..Its going to be a mid stater…Hey Jermeiah, remember how the FOM South went at Pool 4…lol…just kiddin…
d-nort..as for Marty…well I would bet he will be back…but yea, it does free up a top 30 spot. And I will watch where he goes at the Fridged..same with ummm..Mr Jones..barring there is water this year..4 weeks…

But back to the BFL…it is always the underdog that pulls it off. I do have to say that the Great Lakes division has some of the BEST and NICEST guys for bass fishing in the whole USA. And I hope that always continues..no matter who wins…..but d-nort you gotta change your handle to spiderman.. Ok, I predict me at LaX……..is that an alarm clock I hear……..
anyhow good luck to everyone and lets continue the smack…it passes time..

I predict Banana Man will blind everyone prior to the tournament giving him at least an hour headstart. How bright yellow and blue is that boat DNORT (aka Banana Man)?
Can’t wait to see the Banana Man Jig. How about you Banana Man?

Does anyone know if there are still spots open for the co-anglers in the Everstart series out of La Crosse. I am thinking about signing up if there still are openings. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

d-nort…….. I understand what you’re saying about the different circumstances that come up while fishing from the back of the boat. I’ve yet to out fish a boater, but I have been “boated” a couple times….. not pleasent!

I’ve yet to be outfished by a co-angler

Nort tells me all the time he does whatever possible to keep his no-boater OFF of fish..
