Jr. Bass

    I have two boys who will be 11 and eight this summer. The oldest one would like to get into the Jr. Bass tournaments. Does any one know of any local (La Crosse) programs for kids to get involved in?

    i tried posing the same question over there last year and never got an answer. i wish we had a junior type thing down here so i could try and qualify for the state or classic tournament. oh well, fishing bass world and team supreme builds character i guess

    The only thing i know that has/had any type of events for kids was/is The Bass Federation.

    I imagine they still have casting for kids and such….
    Any of you Federation or Nation anglers our there want to give more detail?

    The BASS Federation has a junior club program. It allows them to compete on the local, state and national level. As WI went TBF, they are currently in the process of starting another BASS Federation. Their web site is http://www.wisconsinbassnation.com.

    The TBF Federation will also have a junior program very similiar to BASS. Since WI switched to TBF, they already have a program in place. Their web site is http://www.wisconsinbass.com.
